  • Professor Sos S. Agaian, City University of New York (CUNY), USA
  • Sos Agaian is a Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at the Graduate Center/CSI, CUNY. Dr. Agaian was a Peter T. Flawn Professor of the University of Texas at San Antonio. His recent research focuses on computational vision, artificial intelligence, multimedia security, multimedia analytics, and cancer screening. His research sponsors include DARPA, NSF, U.S. Department of Transportation, U.S. Department of Energy, NIJ, and private industry. He is a highly cited scholar and ranked top one in the field of image quality and multimedia analytics, assessed in 2022 by Google Scholar. Over 45 Ph.D. students have completed their Ph.D. thesis under his supervision, and his work has led to over 750 articles, 10-books, 19 book chapters, and he holds over 56 American and foreign-issued or pending patents/disclosures. Several of Agaian's IP is commercially licensed. He is an Associate Editor for several journals, including the Image processing Transaction (IEEE) and IEEE Transaction of Cybernetics. He is a fellow of the Society for Imaging Science and Technology (IS&T), Optical Society of America (SPIE), American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), The Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA), and a Foreign Member of the Armenian National Academy. He is co-founder and served as honorary/general co-chair and/or committee member in many international conferences on image processing, computer vision, and AI. Dr. Agaian gave more than 15 plenary/keynote speeches and 50+ Invited talks. He was a recipient of the Innovator of the Year Award in 2014 and the Tech Flash Titans-Top ResearcherAward (San Antonio Business Journal). He is presently Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Image processing, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, and Journal of Electronic Imaging (IS&T and SPIE).: Systems. Dr. Agaian gave more than 20 plenary/keynote speeches and 50+ Invited talks. He is the recipient of Influential Member of the School of Engineering, Tufts University, and Certificate of appreciation from the IEEE Educational Society, Central New England Council. Also, he has received several paper awards. He is the co-founder of 3 Universities Centers: Simulation Visualization & Real-Time Prediction Center (NSF), NVIDIA Research Center, and the National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (DHS). Presently, UTSA's cybersecurity program has been ranked the best in the nation.

  • Dr. Huiyu Zhou received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Radio Technology from Huazhong University of Science and Technology of China, and a Master of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Dundee of United Kingdom, respectively. He was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Computer Vision from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. Dr. Zhou currently is a full Professor at School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Leicester, United Kingdom. He has published over 380 peer-reviewed papers in the field. He was the recipient of "CVIU 2012 Most Cited Paper Award", “MIUA 2020 Best Paper Award”, “ICPRAM 2016 Best Paper Award” and was nominated for “ICPRAM 2017 Best Student Paper Award” and "MBEC 2006 Nightingale Prize".   • Professor Hamid Reza Karimi, Politecnico di Milano, Italy
  • Hamid Reza Karimi is currently Professor of Applied Mechanics with the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Politecnico di Milano, Milan, Italy. His original research and development achievements span a broad spectrum within the topic of control systems, mechatronics, intelligent systems, and fault diagnosis with applications such as vehicles, robotics and manufacturing systems. Prof. Karimi is a Member of Academia Europa, Distinguished Fellow of the International Institute of Acoustics and Vibration (IIAV), Fellow of The International Society for Condition Monitoring (ISCM), Member of Agder Academy of Science and Letters and also a member of the IFAC Technical Committee on Mechatronic Systems, the IFAC Technical Committee on Robust Control, and the IFAC Technical Committee on Automotive Control. He is serving as Chief Editor, Subject Editor, Technical Editor or Associate Editor for some International Journals and Book Series Editor for Springer, CRC Press and Elsevier.   • Professor Cheng Siong Chin, Newcastle University in Singapore, Singapore
  • Dr Cheng Siong Chin received the B.Eng. degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in 2000, the M.Sc. degree in Advanced Control and Systems Engineering from The University of Manchester (formerly called UMIST) in 2001. He has published over 100 publications, 5 authored books, and 3 US Patents. His research interests include the design and simulation of complex systems for an uncertain environment. He is a Fellow of the Higher-Education Academy, a Fellow of IMarEST, and a Senior Member of IEEE. He received the Best Paper Award for Virtual Reality of Autonomous Marine Vehicle in 10th International Conference on Modelling, Identification, and Control sponsored by IEEE in 2018 and the Best Application Paper on Dynamic Positioning for Vessel in 11th International Conference on Modelling, Identification, and Control, 2019. He also received DCASE2019 Judges' Award (most innovative and original) for Sound Event Detection in Domestic Environments in IEEE AASP Challenge on DCASE2019. He was awarded the Outstanding Contributions in Reviewing for Future Generation Computer Systems, Elsevier in 2018. He is the Associate Editor of IEEE Access Journal, IEEE Transportation Electrification Community Newsletter (marine/Shipboard/EV), and Electronics (Sections: Systems & Control Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Circuits and Systems).
