Speaker I:  Li Yu, Huazhong University of Science and Technology

Dr. Yu received her B.Sc., M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in communication and information system from HUST in 1992, 1996 and 1999, respectively. Since 1999 she has been with the School of EIC, HUST, where she is now a full professor and the director of Multimedia and Communication Network Center. From Dec. 2013 to June 2014, she was a visiting professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Waterloo, hosted by Prof. Sherman Shen. Her research focuses on image processing, video coding/decoding, wireless networking, etc.
Dr. Yu is an IEEE senior member and served as the secretary of IEEE Wuhan Section from 2007 and was elected as the award chair in 2013. She also worked as the co-chair of Audio Video coding Standard workgroup of China. She has published more than 100 papers in prestigious international journals and conference proceedings.

 

Speaker I: Prof. Anand Nayyar, Duy Tan University, Vietnam

Dr. Anand Nayyar received Ph.D (Computer Science) from Desh Bhagat University in 2017 in the area of Wireless Sensor Networks, Swarm Intelligence and Network Simulation. He is currently working in School of Computer Science-Duy Tan University, Da Nang, Vietnam as Professor, Scientist, Vice-Chairman (Research) and Director- IoT and Intelligent Systems Lab. A Certified Professional with 125+ Professional certifications from CISCO, Microsoft, Amazon, EC-Council, Oracle, Google, Beingcert, EXIN, GAQM, Cyberoam and many more. Published more than 180+ Research Papers in various High-Quality ISI-SCI/SCIE/SSCI Impact Factor- Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 Journals cum Scopus/ESCI indexed Journals, 70+ Papers in International Conferences indexed with Springer, IEEE and ACM Digital Library, 40+ Book Chapters in various SCOPUS/WEB OF SCIENCE Indexed Books with Springer, CRC Press, Wiley, IET, Elsevier with Citations: 11600+, H-Index: 57 and I-Index: 210. Awarded 46 Awards for Teaching and Research—Young Scientist, Best Scientist, Best Senior Scientist, Asia Top 50 Academicians and Researchers, Young Researcher Award, Outstanding Researcher Award, Excellence in Teaching, Best Senior Scientist Award, DTU Best Professor and Researcher Award- 2019, 2020-2021, 2022, Distinguished Scientist Award by National University of Singapore, Obada Prize 2023, Lifetime Achievement Award 2023 and many more. Speaker III: Prof. Cheng Siong Chin, Newcastle University in Singapore, Singapore

Dr Cheng Siong Chin is a Chair Professor of Intelligent Systems Modelling and Simulation at Newcastle University. He has achieved over 170 publications, 5 authored books, 2 Singapore Patent Applications, and 3 US Patents. He also received DCASE2019 Judges' Award in IEEE AASP Challenge on DCASE2019. He is an Associate Editor for IEEE Access Journal, Applied Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Transportation Electrification Community (TEC) eNewsletter, and editorial board member of Electronics.

Speaker IV: Prof. Xunwei Zhou, Beijing Union University, China

Professor Zhou received B.E. from Department of Automation, Beijing University of Technology in 1982. He received  postgraduate diploma  but not degree from Department of ComputerScience, Beijing University of Technology in 1987. He was lecturer in Department of Computer Science, Beijing University of Technology  from 1987 to 1992, associate professor in College of Information, Beijing Union University from 1992 to 2005, professor in Institute of Information Technology, College of Information, Beijing Union University from 2005 to 2012, professor emeritus in Beijing key laboratory of information service engineering, Beijing Union University since 2012. He constructs mutually-inversistic logic and applies it to the fields of computer science and artificial intelligence, such as automatic theorem proving, logic programming, planning and scheduling, expert systems, semantic network, program verification, natural language understanding, hardware verification, machine  learning, data mining, uncertainty reasoning, program refinement, many-valued computer, etc. He published about 80 refereed papers, authored 4 monographs on them. He is a senior member of China Computer Federation,a member of Technical Committee of Artificial  Intelligence Theory of Chinese Association forArtificial Intelligence, a director of Beijing Logical Association.
